Dr Libby Swanepoel (PhD, MNut&Dietetics (Hons), BSc), Research Lead with the Australian Centre for Pacific Islands Research, University of the Sunshine Coast, focuses her research across food systems for global development. As a dietitian and public health nutritionist, she is interested in nutrition sensitive agriculture for gender and social inclusion, food and nutrition security, and livelihood development. Libby has current projects in Samoa, Kiribati, Fiji, Indonesia and the Northern Territory of Australia. With a background in capacity building, Libby’s work is imbedded in appreciative inquiry and seeks to develop inclusive horizontal partnerships to progress the sustainable development agenda.
