Parika is a multidisciplinary designer and a futurist, focused on taking a systemic and participatory approach to complex problems. She is currently a Strategic Foresight Officer at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet in South Australia, where she integrates long-term thinking into policy-making and strategy development across government. She has experience embedding strategic foresight and design-led innovation across the public and private sector and building communities of practice. 
 
Parika is also a Global Shaper, and is passionate about collaborating with fellow young people to take collective action on issues of local relevance. She cares deeply about creating a sustainable and equitable future for all – one where we uphold the dignity of all forms of life and our planet.
