Rydr is an education executive, previously working in a number of senior roles across the NSW Department of Education. Over the past few years he managed a diverse team of 120 educators, led the Futures Learning Unit, designed the department's response to the Teachers Accreditation Act and coordinated the Strategic Priorities of the Centre of Education Statistics and Evaluation (CESE).

In his most recent role as Director, Strategic Delivery, he provided strategic leadership in the development of tailored evidence-based programs, professional learning and instructional resources to build the capability of teachers and school leaders. At Creatable, Rydr draws on his expertise and experience to design transformational education resources and applied professional learning programs that help teachers prepare students for the challenges humanity will face in the future both in the western and developing world.
